From Visually Impaired to Visionary.

A story of resilience and focus on what is possible.

Living with a disability often means learning to navigate a world that at time seems like it wasn’t designed with me and my needs in mind.

It can bring moments of grief, frustration, and comparison.

Moments where I have wondered how life might have looked without added limitations.

Moments where my goals feel heavier to carry than they do for others.

My Story

My name is Bambi. I’m a wife, a mum, and a Disability Empowerment and Inclusion Leader. I’ve lived with the realities of visual impairment for over 30 years, and throughout that time, my faith as a Christian has remained a steady foundation.

Over the years, I’ve learned that confidence doesn’t come from pretending disability isn’t part of your life — it comes from understanding who you are with it.

I’ve also learned that it’s possible to pursue growth, purpose, and ambition without exhausting yourself or waiting for life to look different before you begin.

What I’ve Come to Believe

I believe that because my identity is rooted in Christ, I am free to take pride in the unique way that I have been created — not in spite of my limitations, but alongside them.

I believe I can build systems and practices that support my specific needs, allowing life to feel more manageable and aligned rather than overwhelming.

And I believe that while healing may not always come in the way or the timing I might hope for, peace and purpose are still available to me today.

The miracle that is my life, my capacity, and my potential is not something to wait for — it is already present.

Why I Created Her Ability Co.

Even though I may not be able to see you clearly on the outside, I have a deep understanding of what may be happening on the inside.

I see women who are capable, thoughtful, and determined — and yet are held back by systems, expectations, and internalised doubts that don’t account for their lived reality.

I see women working incredibly hard to meet standards that were never designed with them in mind.

And I see women who carry meaningful dreams and ambitions, even when the path toward them feels uncertain.

Her Ability Co. was created so you don’t have to navigate that alone

How We Grow Together

Inside this space, we focus on:

Restoring and strengthening our identity;

Grounding who we are and where we’re going in Faith, clarity, and confidence.

Equipping ourselves with practical tools
skills, knowledge, and strategies that help us move forward in education, career, and life — in a sustainable way.

Supporting our growth by making space for change without pressure or comparison.

Walking with each other as we grow and offering encouragement and support as you build a life that fits who you are.

A Final Word

You were created with intention, depth, and ability.

Your disability does not disqualify you from living a confident, meaningful, and impactful life — it simply means your path may look different.

And here, different is not a limitation.
It’s the starting point.
